This was the worse shopping experience I ever had, on or off line. After placing an order on line with Shopping.com, I received an email from them (Shopping.com) that my order was "Cancelled" and the item would "Not be shipped" and "My account was not charged" it was a system error and if I still wanted the item I needed to place another order. (I have a copy of the email) I placed another order an received a confirmation, this time with order status information, store name and phone #. I contacted Eagle and was given a "tracking # and delivery date for my order. The next day I received an email from Eagle stating that the same item was shipping on another date with a different "tracking #". I contacted Eagle immediately to explain that I was being shipped a duplicate order and was treated so disrespectfully, I was told that I placed 2 orders and received "no assistance" at all. I contacted Shopping.com by "Chat Live" and was told it was not their problem, I needed to contact the store that was shipping the items. I attempted to speak with Eagle again the next day, asking them to stop delivery of the 2nd item and was told I would have to contact Shopping.com because I placed the order with them and that they (Eagle) did not have time to be bothered with me. After several attempts to contact Eagle, they put me on "hold" and never returned. I received no help what so ever in resolving this issue. The amount of the item I ordered was debited twice from my credit card account, I had to file a "dispute" with my bank over the 2nd debit that was processed for an item that I did not order and did not accept delivery on. Customer service was terrible and I was totally dissatisfied.

Purchased an HP715 digital camera and War Craft 3 at prices cheaper than other advertisers. Salesperson called same day to resolve credit card problem. Shipped same day by FedEx ground at reasonable rate. As promised, when promised.

I bought the go-video home stereo/dvd/mp3/jpg player and it was delivered promptly to my U.S. address (2 days after ordering ups ground, guess i was very close), payed using paily (cause am from mexico) without problem, thanks. P.S., product was new, and it did what it said on the website

I bought a refurbished averatec laptop from eagle. Went through a rigamarole charging my credit card, then cancelling the order so my information could be verified, thus tying up my credit for a few days. Finally, card was approved... oh well cost of doing business in the modern age, whatever.
Laptop came right away. The trouble is, it is defective, I can't connect to the net. Furthermore, not everything that was stated on the website as included in the package was included. Customer service at Eagle claims everything is Averatec's fault cause Eagle doesn't ship package.
My alternatives are sending the laptop to Averatec for service, or sending it back to Eagle for a refund, at my own expense! and having a restock fees deducted by Eagle.
I feel this is highly unfair/dishonest. If you advertise something on your website, you are obligied to provide it or
provide restitution.
Bottom line when you buy from Eagle? If the product works you got a good deal. If it doesn't you got screwed.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!
I had a terrible experience with this store! Their strategy to get my money was:
- they sent me an email asking me to call them to "confirm" the purchase.
- they said that the product I chose was a refurbished one, with incomplete accessories.
- they offered a complete original one, for "only" 30% more.
- when I received the package at my house, it was the incomplete refurbished one!!!
- I still had to pay for the shipping back ($25 bucks!).
I went to a Best Buy or Circuit City (or any other real store) and bought it. It is not worth risking to buy again with EAGLE Computers!
Think about it NOW, before it is too late!

No hassle, great deal, recieved order the very next day with standard shipping. Very pleased, the monitor works great, even though it's refurbished, I could afford to buy a 3 year warranty for cheaper than I could have gotten an new one.
