Free Shipping issue mentioned in prior survey. Need true free shipping not some sort of mail in rebate program...

The TV is very nice. However, the TV does not work with my cable box. I was also told by a radio shack employee that I needed an HDMI cable that was not supplied, so I bought it, but the TV still doesn't work. I think I have to call my Cable provider for a different box. However, b/4 deciding on the TV I purchased, I called c/r svce to discuss TV features and sound. The c/r support person, was not helpful, as his answers were too technical He used too much "tech speak" and he was not able to get to the core of my questions about whether or not I could just connect this to my cable box with the equipment I already owned and watch the Tv. I have had the TV over a week and I still have not been able to watch anything on it. The problems I am having is probably due to my ignorance, but my lack of knowledge is exactly the reason I contacted c/r support in the first place. This issue is stil unresolved. After placing the order, I received 4 email confirmations, prompting me to call c/r service to make sure that the order had not been duplicated. It had not. Also I tried to print a rebate certificate and could not find it on your website. I called Onsale c/r service and was told to go to the manufacturer's website. I could not find the certificate, emailed the mfgr., and again, called Onsale c/r service. This time Onsale told me that it was on their website and told me how to find it; which I did. Subsequent to my receipt of the TV, I filled out a rebate certificate for the shipping and one for the TV. Following the rebate instructions, I realized I needed an invoice, which I never got from Onsale. I had to call C/r service for an Invoice. They promptly sent one via email with "duplicate" printed across the top. I had never received the first. Lots of calls, but eventually I was able to complete the rebate certificates and mail them it. I suppose, except for not yet receiving the refunds, the issue has been resolved.
